Message If you have removed your factory carbon canister then you will have a build up of pressure in the fuel tank. There is a check valve that seals the fuel tank under pressure. When vacuum occurs in the engine and your carbon canister is intact, the check valve is opened. When the carbon canister is removed the vacuum source for the check valve is lost and the fuel tank does not vent the gases.
